These three small mixed-media paintings showed up in my studio carrying bright October skies, cotton-candy pinks, spinning leaves, looping lines, and the unmistakable feeling of lights coming on at the county fair.
I’ve been calling them Bumper Cars, Carousel, and Tilt-A-Whirl. They are all 4×6, but with a mat and simple frame I think they make a lovely set.
Not every painting asks deep questions. Some simply invite us to smile.
