Beezus and Bottlebrush Buckeye

After spending a day doing trail maintenance, it’s fun to hike the trail (without dragging your equipment) and enjoy the newly trimmed and orderly passageways. These photos, except for the bottlebrush buckeye blooms (near the house, notable because most of our buckeyes are yellow buckeye trees), are from our Yellow Birch Trail, which is named for the magnificent tree at the trailhead.

That Bee. She does love to pose for a photo.
