Beezus’s Bouquet & Storm Front Over Hanging Rock

I went out walking in the woods and came home with this pretty bouquet of phlox (lavender and pink), ragwort (yellow), greater chickweed (white), and larkspur (purple).

I was just setting it out on the deck railing to photograph when Bee jumped up to inspect the bouquet and have her portrait made.

AND, I realized just recently that I had never posted this lovely photo from my lunch spot last week, sitting out with my sandwich and watching the storm front move it.

A friend told me I should paint from these photos, and I did! You can see that oil painting at this link.

That bouquet is gorgeous (and Beezus of course).

Bee loves having her photo taken, whereas Pippi really dislikes it and avoids the camera most of the time. Cats are weird!

  2. An appreciative kitty! That is a perfect bouquet.

They love taking a look at whatever I forage or pick or otherwise bring home. Cats!!
