Ground Cherry Watercolor

I am starting to enjoy my paintings more of late; maybe because I’m choosing simpler subjects that are more within my capabilities, or maybe because I’m slowly gaining some skills.

These little ground cherries on a china plate please me not just because we have ground cherries that grow on our mountain, but also because I love dishware. This little blue plate reminds me a bit of the blue teacup watercolor I did not too long ago.
