Thank you for buying Appalachian Ground, my first book of poetry!
As of today, I’ve sold a total of 48 paperbacks and 8 digital copies in the first 20 days of availability, and enjoyed a few days right there up at the top of the rankings with Mary Oliver, Robert Frost, and Walt Whitman.
Now I need a favor:
If you bought a copy of the book, would you write me a review on Amazon?
Amazon ranks (and shows to prospective buyers) a particular book based on two big factors: Sales + REVIEWS. A good review absolutely makes a difference.
How to write a book review on Amazon:
- Go to Appalachian Ground’s Amazon book page
- Scroll down to the Customer Review section.
- Click the button that says “Write a customer review”. It will be at the bottom of any other customer reviews. (I currently have one review!)
- Give it a stars rating, then write your headline and your review.
- EXTRA HAPPY BONUS POINTS: Upload a photo of your favorite poem, or you reading the book (not required, but this makes a huge difference in the review).
- Click the yellow “Submit” button.
Then watch me do my happy dance!! (It looks like Snoopy’s happy dance; less graceful but just as ecstatic.)
Thank you!
PS: Here’s the link to the book page again!
PPS: Once you write your review, it may take up to 48 hours for Amazon to approve and post it. I may have eaten all the cupcakes by then. (Hashtag: HappyButNOPatience)
