Phacelia and bleeding hearts

More Wildflowers!

I guess it’s possible that we will still get another snow; often we have some in April, and we’ve even had them in May… But so far it hasn’t happened.

The spring ephemerals can weather plenty of cold snaps, although the late snows will typically break the daffodil stems. If we get word of snowy weather, I often go pick as many daffodils as I can. But this Easter the forecast is for balmy spring temps and sunshine.

Meanwhile, Bee is waiting to go on another hike. It’s what she lives for.

And here’s the phacelia, growing alongside a small patch of bleeding hearts, the first larkspur to bloom on our mountain, and some lovely white wood anemones.
