So Many Yellows

Spring is my favorite color. There are so many yellows to enjoy! Here are a “scrambled egg” or pioneer daffodil and a jonquil, which I’m posting for my Dad (hi, Dad!) who has a green thumb and particularly loves jonquils. Lance found a few jonquils growing behind some brambles near the house, and now that we know they’re there, we can look after them a bit.

In addition, there are some violets amid the spring beauties, bloodroot, an acorn cap offering, and a cheerful buttercup bouquet—which I photographed on a piece of tin roofing that is protecting our woodpile.
