For a while this summer, I closed the doors to my fine art website.
Not because I had stopped making art. Quite the opposite.
I had reached a point where there was simply too much work, too many collections, too many paintings waiting to be photographed, framed, catalogued, priced, and somehow persuaded to behave themselves on a website.
So I took a breath and started over.
The result was an invitation-only home-gallery show on August 1, where I put out 80 pieces of artwork—watercolors, oils, mixed media, prints, and work from my two newest collections, Secret Atlas and Breathing Room.
And it was wonderful.
People came. They wandered. They talked about the paintings. They picked things up and carried them around. They found pieces they connected with. And by the end of the afternoon, 25 paintings had found new homes.
There is something very different about seeing artwork in person. I loved watching that happen.
But now it’s time to open the online doors again.
The website has been refreshed, and the paintings that remain are once again available to wander through online.
The fine art gallery is open.

If you’ve been following along while all of this was taking shape, thank you! For cheering, for supporting, for coming out to the show, for caring about the work.
And if you’re new here, welcome. There’s quite a bit to explore.
Special thanks to Glen Troiano and Scott Rhodes for hosting the show!
