The odd lumpishness of our wild apples is much prettier in real life than it is in my painting, but that’s okay. I get to paint (and eat) them as many times as I like, and one day I might capture it perfectly!
This painting is 20″x20″. It is a canvas my mother bought me when I last visited her.
Hope you all had a good summer, and are looking ahead to fall. (We had our first fire in the woodstove today; it was in the high 30s last night.)

PS: You might notice that I fell in love with that blush-pink color today. I put it in everything. I think it’s in my hair, too.
